Ristorante La Rucola in Wiesbaden

One of the best Italians i have ever been too.

Not cheap but authentic Italian cuisine at it's best. I had swordfish for main course. It was served with spaghetti Alio Olio. All delicious and served promptly by a lovely waitress from Sicily who entertained us with a wicked sense of humour.

Really very good food and friendly staff! Also suitable for small children

Fantastic food, rarely eaten so great in Italian! Very nice staff and the atmosphere was consistent. Again and again, gladly when we are in Wiesbaden.

The kitchen still has a lot of room for improvement. Cheap ingredients carelessly served as a salad. Formed shoulder ham e.g. Prices like a fine dining restaurant.

My favorite restaurant for many years

Unfortunately, the Corona measures were poorly implemented. Employees sometimes walked around with the MNS pulled down and approached guests. Generally too many employees walked around you and came very close while serving. We felt unsafe and were there for the last time. Absolute no-go, even without a pandemic: hold the knife by the blade when adding more. Food: was okay. Some dishes are good, others rather bad and inadequate in terms of price-performance ratio.

Super delicious the food to be recommended again and again, waiters very attentive and friendly.

The food was lovelessly prepared, spicy and heartlessly served on the plate, the vegetable side dish was soft-cooked, the waiters were arrogant (we wondered what). We ordered Panma cotta and got something that was more comparable to vanilla sauce.

The pick-up service is terrific! The boys in the kitchen have prepared and packaged it so that it looks even better at home and tastes just like it did at La Rucola itself.

Current information: Pick-up service from Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Just as tasty as ever :)

Nice atmosphere and free parking.

Very nicely located and easy to reach by car, la Rucola is located on the tennis court. The ambience is nice, the service is appropriate, you get the impression of a small and fine Italian restaurant. The standard is high! Regarding the food, I can say that the offer is good, but unfortunately the taste doesn't match the ambience or the prices! For me, quality and sophistication are only worth 3 stars at the prices!

Very good food; especially fish is delicate. The wine selection is manageable, but the quality is very high. Regarding the ambience only the view of the tennis court is a little less comfortable.

Eat good. Pizza is outstanding, but meat is like that! Would have to send back 3 times because it still was not medium.

Was hoping for a great find as we live within walking distance. The food was very good, however the staff barely attended to us and was very snobbish. Felt very uncomfortable here due to the staff behavior. Our waiter spent more time smoking outside than serving. The other downfall is that everything is overpriced for very small portions. Will not go back again.

Food was good but service was not so much. A bit snobbish. If you want return customers, you don't berate them on the way out because they wanted to spilt the bill.

Nice Location

For little more money than in a normal restaurant, you get a real luxury experience: food, as good as I had long had, great ambience and impeccable service. Can I really recommend!

Best Italiano restuarant in Weisbaden !

The kitchen is good and the food is delicious. Only I think that "serving the guest" really outdated and just takes too long! Is not my taste anymore.

This was a beautiful find. A small, cosy restaurant beside a tennis club. The food was just incredibly tasty, though, and very reasonably priced.

It was my first time here as a wedding guest, but it will definitely not be the last. the food is excellent, the staff very attentive.

Pluses - food is superb. Atmosphere is light, airy, and semiformal Negatives - service leaves a lot to be desired. We really enjoyed our visit to La Rucola. My wife had a Veal Marsala and found it well made... flavorful and tender. Rounded out with rosemary potatoes, it was a great dish. I had a pasta Sofia Loren. Very tender pasta that you can tell was made in house. The shrimp was good, albeit slightly overcooked. The service was slow. The servers were all intimidated about speaking English, sometimes walking away from a request. Overall, great food interrupted by poor service.

Very expensive

I had a really great meal last night with very good wine and great service. The La Rucola is highly recommended. High quality price / performance still fine. I can only recommend this for special occasions. I really loved the 4-course menu. The staff is great and very nice / funny. So if you want to do something special, you should include this address in the selection. Very cozy and suitable for a date ?. Also great for corporate events. Here are a few pictures.

One of my favourite restaurants in Wiesbaden a TRUE Italian. Great atmosphere, if you're looking for a place for a romantic meal in the evening or like to watch some tennis at lunch this is the place. Wonderful staff especially Micheala.

Family run Italian restaurant, located next to the Kurpark and the local club's tennis courts. Nice outside seating in summer. Food is consistently nice, particularly the fish is always very good. Not at the cheap end of the spectrum.
